Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-07-01

Legal review required before relying on these Terms in a dispute. This page is a launch-readiness draft written to accurately describe the current BlazeCrawl product, billing model, and customer controls.

1. Service

BlazeCrawl provides developer APIs and hosted tools for web scraping, crawling, mapping, search, AI extraction, browser interaction, scheduling, document parsing, embedding, and related usage analytics. Customers receive API keys scoped to a workspace and are responsible for requests made with those keys.

2. Accounts and Security

You must provide accurate account and billing information, protect your API keys, and promptly revoke compromised keys. We may suspend or limit access if we detect abuse, security risk, unpaid invoices, attempts to bypass limits, or activity that violates these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use BlazeCrawl only for lawful purposes and only where you have the right to access and process the target content. You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy, including restrictions on credential stuffing, login bypass, paywall bypass, malware, unlawful surveillance, and personal-data scraping at scale.

4. Plans, Billing, and Taxes

Paid plans are billed through Stripe using the plan selected at checkout plus metered usage, overages, add-ons, or credits where applicable. The in-dashboard billing controls show current plan, usage, budget caps, and Stripe-hosted billing management. You authorize BlazeCrawl and Stripe to charge your payment method for recurring subscription fees, metered usage, applicable taxes, and approved purchases.

Usage records are generated from BlazeCrawl's Billing v2 ledger. Hard spend caps and free-tier quotas are technical controls, but you remain responsible for monitoring usage and keeping billing information current.

5. Refund Policy

Refunds are available for duplicate charges, confirmed billing errors, unused prepaid credit balances where technically recoverable, and jobs that were billed even though BlazeCrawl failed before performing the paid work. Subscription fees already covering a completed billing period, metered usage that successfully ran, taxes, and third-party pass-through costs are generally not refundable.

Request refunds within 30 days by contacting billing@blazecrawl.dev with your workspace ID, invoice or payment ID, affected request IDs, and the reason. The product currently supports admin-issued Stripe refunds, not automatic customer self-refunds. See the Refund Policy for the customer-facing process.

6. Customer Data

Customer data includes submitted URLs, crawl and extraction results, API usage logs, workspace settings, billing metadata, and support communications. Data is handled according to the Privacy Policy, Data Processing Agreement where applicable, and documented deletion/export routes.

7. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, legal risk, platform abuse, security incidents, excessive load, attempts to evade quotas or spend caps, or violations of these Terms. You may stop using the service, cancel through the Stripe Customer Portal where available, and request data export or deletion.

8. Disclaimers and Liability Limits

BlazeCrawl is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis except where a written enterprise agreement says otherwise. We do not guarantee that every target site can be accessed, parsed, rendered, or extracted successfully. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlazeCrawl is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or lost-profit damages.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms as the product and billing model change. Material changes will be posted in the Trust Center or communicated through the dashboard or email.
